Industrial R&D and Applied Projects Panel
Objective of the Panel
The Industrial R&D and Applied Projects Panel aims to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience between industrial organizations, academia, and students. Within the scope of the panel, companies introduce their ongoing research, development, and application-oriented projects; thereby gaining the opportunity to directly engage with students and academics, develop potential collaborations, and access qualified human resources.
This panel aims not only to enable companies to conduct corporate promotion, but also to share their technical knowledge and practical experience through the projects they have carried out.
Scope of the Panel
The panel includes companies operating in fields such as engineering, technology, software, artificial intelligence, automation, energy, manufacturing systems, defense industry, maritime, transportation, and similar sectors:
- R&D Projects
- Activities carried out within the scope of university–industry collaboration
- Projects that have been implemented or have completed field testing
- Project experiences that involve or may involve student contributions
The target audience of the panel includes undergraduate and graduate students, academics, researchers, and industry representatives.
Company Presentation Content
Companies participating in the panel are expected to prepare their presentations within the following framework:
- Project objective and addressed problem
- Developed solution approach and technologies used
- Implementation process and obtained outcomes
- Sectoral or societal impact of the project
Content aimed at company introduction should be limited to a maximum of 1–2 slides. The presentation should focus on the project and its practical experience.
Panel Rules and Organizational Structure
- For each company 12–15 minute presentation and 5-minute question-answer session will be given.
- Presentations should be conducted in accordance with academic and technical content standards and adhere to ethical principles.
- The number of companies participating in the panel is limited; applications will be evaluated by the organizing committee.
- Participation in the panel will be carried out within the scope of the Industry Project Partnership provided to the symposium.
